Finnish masters to paint yourself

The golden age of Finnish art produced painters such as Akseli Gallen-Kallela, Albert Edelfelt and Pekka Halonen, who painted northern lakes, snowy forests, town life and the myths of the Kalevala with a light all their own.

Painting one by numbers shows how the picture was built: the cool blues of snow, the reflections on still water and colours that look simple but were chosen with great care. A thoughtful gift for anyone drawn to Nordic landscapes or art history.
