Round drills are easier and faster to place, so they are a good choice for beginners. Square drills fit together more tightly and give a sharper, more mosaic-like final result. If you want the easiest start, choose round drills. If you want the cleanest possible finish, choose square drills.
The best photo is clear, well-lit, and at least 1000x1000 pixels. In portraits, the face should fill a large part of the image. Avoid group photos, very dark photos, and small social media images — they usually do not give the best result.

Choose the size based on how much detail there is in the image. For portraits, we recommend at least 40x50 cm so facial features come through clearly. For pet photos, 40x40 cm or 40x60 cm usually works well. For group photos and landscapes, choose as large a size as possible, such as 60x80 cm or 60x120 cm.
