How Does Paint by Numbers Work?
It's pretty simple: your canvas has numbered sections, and your paint pots have matching numbers. Find number 1 on the canvas, grab paint pot 1, and fill in that area. Then move on to number 2, and so on.
You work section by section, and before you know it, a real painting appears. It's surprisingly calming – great for winding down after work or spending a quiet evening at home.
Check the selected product listing for the included canvas, numbered acrylic paints, brushes and instructions. Package contents and any separately sold accessories vary by product.

Frequently asked questions
What should I look for in a design if I want less intricate painting?
Look for a clear main subject and a less crowded composition. Dense branches, tiny windows or many distant faces can mean numerous small areas. Check the size too: the same subject can require different precision on different canvas sizes.
Do I need specialist brushes for my first custom photo kit?
The custom photo kit includes four brushes in different sizes, so a separate brush set is not a compulsory starting purchase. Consider extra tools later according to your working preferences. Our paint by numbers brushes and accessories are optional additions.
How do I keep colours separate when I have several paintings in progress?
Keep each design's paints and identifying information together. Label pots before starting, and do not combine paints from different designs just because the numbers match. You can then check the correct colour against your own kit details even after a long break.
