Volcano paint by numbers in a stormy landscape

A glowing lava river winds through cracked terrain towards a horizon dominated by a towering supercell cloud. Lightning bolts strike between jagged mountain peaks, and the entire scene is bathed in amber, gold and charcoal — not a single cool tone in sight. You view it all from a cliff edge, looking down on a world coming apart at the seams.

What makes this volcano paint by numbers stand out?

The entirely warm colour palette sets this landscape paint by numbers apart from anything else on the market. Every shade works together — from molten gold to deep charcoal — giving the finished piece a cohesive, cinematic glow. The lava river cuts through the dark terrain like a vein of light, creating contrast you can feel across the room.

What the painting process is like

Broad dark earth sections fill steadily and give your sessions a solid rhythm. The glowing lava details and lightning strikes bring variety that keeps each sitting fresh. Roughly 12 evenings in, you will watch this volcanic scene come together layer by layer.

On the wall, this one stops people

A fiery volcanic landscape is the kind of piece every guest notices first. When you mention you painted it yourself, number by number — the reaction is always genuine surprise. In a living room, study or games room, this draws eyes and starts conversations.

How to get started

  1. Preparation: Check that the package contains all the supplies. Have a glass of water and paper towels nearby for cleaning brushes.
  2. Work order: Start from the top of the canvas and work downwards. This way, you avoid your hand touching wet paint as the work progresses.
  3. One color at a time: Paint all areas of the same number at once. Keep paint cups closed when not in use to prevent acrylic paint from drying.
  4. Brush maintenance: Wash and dry the brush thoroughly each time you change colors. If light paint doesn't cover the number, let it dry and add another layer.
