Frequently Asked Questions
?
Where can I find my diamond painting colour code?
The colour code is shown in the list that came with your diamond painting. Each symbol has a corresponding DMC code, often with the quantity or weight of drills needed. If you have lost the list, you can also find the code on the drill bag labels.
?
Is 20 grams enough for me?
One bag contains approximately 4,000 drills, which is usually enough to complete one colour in an entire project. You can compare this to the list that came with your diamond painting, which shows the quantity or weight needed for each colour.
?
Do these drills match the originals?
Our drills use the international DMC colour system. There may be slight shade variations between different manufacturers, but the DMC code ensures the colour is as close to the original as possible. When topping up an existing project, the result is practically unnoticeable.
?
What is the difference between square and round drills?
Square drills fit together seamlessly with no gaps, creating a precise, mosaic-like finish. Round drills are easier and faster to place but leave small gaps between drills. Choose the same shape as your original project.
?
Do these fit diamond paintings from other brands?
Yes. Square drills are the standard 2.5mm size and round drills are 2.8mm, so they fit all common diamond paintings regardless of manufacturer.
?
What are Aurora Borealis and Pixie Dust drills?
Aurora Borealis (AB) drills have a rainbow-shine coating that reflects light in different colours. Pixie Dust (PD) drills have a pearlescent finish that creates a soft, subtle shimmer. Both add extra depth and vibrancy to your work.
