Tram & City Streets in a travel poster style

This 40x50 cm paint by numbers kit features a tram and the steep streets of a Portuguese city bring a recognisable travel poster atmosphere to the image. The composition uses the clean structure associated with vintage travel posters, so the finished piece feels decorative rather than photographic.

Why it works so well as a paint by numbers kit

Travel poster artwork is especially satisfying to paint because the colour areas stay clear, the shapes remain readable and the image looks tidy throughout the process. With 24 colours and a 40x50 cm format, this is a strong choice if you want wall art with genuine travel-poster character.

What is included

The kit includes a numbered canvas, matching paints, brushes, plus a colour chart and instructions. The final result brings the atmosphere of Portugal into a vintage poster format.

How to get started

  1. Preparation: Check that the package contains all the supplies. Have a glass of water and paper towels nearby for cleaning brushes.
  2. Work order: Start from the top of the canvas and work downwards. This way, you avoid your hand touching wet paint as the work progresses.
  3. One color at a time: Paint all areas of the same number at once. Keep paint cups closed when not in use to prevent acrylic paint from drying.
  4. Brush maintenance: Wash and dry the brush thoroughly each time you change colors. If light paint doesn't cover the number, let it dry and add another layer.
