Golden evening light turns the clouds above a lavender field orange and pink. Purple rows curve towards a stone farmhouse framed by dark cypresses. Between the rows walks a figure in a hat carrying a basket, while a smaller figure in a yellow dress runs ahead. Sunflowers bloom in the foreground.

Lavender rows hold the finest work: pink and violet shift in small, dense patches, with a dark blue shadow running along the bottom of each row. The sunflower petals and the two walkers are just as detailed. The sky and clouds move quickly as large, open areas of beige and orange.

How to get started

  1. Preparation: Check that the package contains all the supplies. Have a glass of water and paper towels nearby for cleaning brushes.
  2. Work order: Start from the top of the canvas and work downwards. This way, you avoid your hand touching wet paint as the work progresses.
  3. One color at a time: Paint all areas of the same number at once. Keep paint cups closed when not in use to prevent acrylic paint from drying.
  4. Brush maintenance: Wash and dry the brush thoroughly each time you change colors. If light paint doesn't cover the number, let it dry and add another layer.
