Paint Your Own Symbol of Hope: Irises by Vincent van Gogh – Paint by Numbers Kit

Immerse yourself in the vivid blues and lush greens of one of Vincent van Gogh’s most celebrated floral masterpieces. Painted in 1889 during his time in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, Irises is a work of incredible energy and natural beauty. For Van Gogh, these flowers were a symbol of hope and a vital part of his "lightning conductor" for his illness.

Now, you can bring this timeless classic to life on your own canvas. This Paint by Numbers kit makes it easy and relaxing to recreate the flowing lines and expressive colors that make this painting a museum favorite worldwide.

With a carefully selected palette of 40 high-quality acrylic colors, you’ll be able to capture the rich depth of the petals and the vibrant movement of the leaves, resulting in a stunning piece of art for your home.

How to get started

  1. Preparation: Check that the package contains all the supplies. Have a glass of water and paper towels nearby for cleaning brushes.
  2. Work order: Start from the top of the canvas and work downwards. This way, you avoid your hand touching wet paint as the work progresses.
  3. One color at a time: Paint all areas of the same number at once. Keep paint cups closed when not in use to prevent acrylic paint from drying.
  4. Brush maintenance: Wash and dry the brush thoroughly each time you change colors. If light paint doesn't cover the number, let it dry and add another layer.
