Picnic Blankets and Kites

This paint by numbers features two striped picnic blankets laid out on green grass, topped with baskets, cups, and plates of food. Several colorful kites are scattered around, adding dynamic shapes and bright hues. The contrast between the lush greens, the striped blankets, and the rainbow-patterned kites offers a fun and varied painting experience. Small details in the food and kite designs keep the painting process interesting. Suitable for anyone who enjoys lively colors and a bit of a challenge.

Paint by numbers is a relaxing way to create real art — no prior experience needed. Follow the numbered areas, and you'll have a finished painting ready to frame. Perfect for unwinding after work or as a mindful weekend project.

How to get started

  1. Preparation: Check that the package contains all the supplies. Have a glass of water and paper towels nearby for cleaning brushes.
  2. Work order: Start from the top of the canvas and work downwards. This way, you avoid your hand touching wet paint as the work progresses.
  3. One color at a time: Paint all areas of the same number at once. Keep paint cups closed when not in use to prevent acrylic paint from drying.
  4. Brush maintenance: Wash and dry the brush thoroughly each time you change colors. If light paint doesn't cover the number, let it dry and add another layer.
