Lioness in Grass

This paint by numbers features a lioness lying among tall savanna grass under the shade of a tree branch. The background shows pale beige and golden grasses, with leafy branches overhead adding extra detail. The lioness's fur has soft brown and tan tones, with subtle shading that makes painting her face and paws interesting. The contrast between the animal and the natural background brings the scene to life. Suitable for animal lovers and those who enjoy painting natural scenes with layered details.

Paint by numbers is a relaxing way to create real art — no prior experience needed. Follow the numbered areas, and you'll have a finished painting ready to frame. Perfect for unwinding after work or as a mindful weekend project.

How to get started

  1. Preparation: Check that the package contains all the supplies. Have a glass of water and paper towels nearby for cleaning brushes.
  2. Work order: Start from the top of the canvas and work downwards. This way, you avoid your hand touching wet paint as the work progresses.
  3. One color at a time: Paint all areas of the same number at once. Keep paint cups closed when not in use to prevent acrylic paint from drying.
  4. Brush maintenance: Wash and dry the brush thoroughly each time you change colors. If light paint doesn't cover the number, let it dry and add another layer.
