Courtyard with Fountain

This paint by numbers features a sunlit courtyard with a tiled fountain in the center, surrounded by potted agave plants. The detailed blue and white tiles on the fountain and the terracotta pots offer plenty of color variation to fill in. A wooden door stands open, casting cool shadows across the tiled floor, while an umbrella above adds striped shade. Painting the interplay of light and shadow, as well as the sharp leaves of the plants, will be an engaging challenge. Suitable for those who appreciate architectural details and garden scenes.

Paint by numbers is a relaxing way to create real art — no prior experience needed. Follow the numbered areas, and you'll have a finished painting ready to frame. Perfect for unwinding after work or as a mindful weekend project.

How to get started

  1. Preparation: Check that the package contains all the supplies. Have a glass of water and paper towels nearby for cleaning brushes.
  2. Work order: Start from the top of the canvas and work downwards. This way, you avoid your hand touching wet paint as the work progresses.
  3. One color at a time: Paint all areas of the same number at once. Keep paint cups closed when not in use to prevent acrylic paint from drying.
  4. Brush maintenance: Wash and dry the brush thoroughly each time you change colors. If light paint doesn't cover the number, let it dry and add another layer.
