This 50x40cm paint by numbers kit features a Highland cow and calf resting on a grassy meadow. In the background, a stone wall, a blue lake, mountain ranges, and a white country house add depth and interest. The palette uses shades of brown, green, and blue for a lifelike, natural effect.

This design is perfect for those who appreciate rural scenery and animal subjects in their home decor. Both experienced and beginner painters will enjoy creating a warm, recognizable animal theme for their wall art.

How to get started

  1. Preparation: Check that the package contains all the supplies. Have a glass of water and paper towels nearby for cleaning brushes.
  2. Work order: Start from the top of the canvas and work downwards. This way, you avoid your hand touching wet paint as the work progresses.
  3. One color at a time: Paint all areas of the same number at once. Keep paint cups closed when not in use to prevent acrylic paint from drying.
  4. Brush maintenance: Wash and dry the brush thoroughly each time you change colors. If light paint doesn't cover the number, let it dry and add another layer.
