The Paint by Numbers Paint Mix Calculator is paintbynumbers.eu's own emergency paint mixing tool for Paint By Numbers kits. Its purpose is to help customers find the closest possible emergency mix from paints they already have left, when one paint pot has been lost, has run out, has dried out or has otherwise become unusable while painting.

The tool only works with paintbynumbers.eu kits, paint codes and product-specific colour lists. It is not a general acrylic paint mixer, DMC colour converter or replacement service for other brands. The calculator uses paintbynumbers.eu paint codes, product-specific colour lists and the known paint colour chart to estimate the closest two-colour mix.

The calculator gives an estimated emergency mix, not a perfect factory replacement paint. A hand-mixed paint will never be exactly the same as the original, but it can help save small or less visible areas of a painting. If a new kit arrived with a missing, dried or unusable paint pot, customers should contact customer support with their order number and a photo of the colour list or missing paint instead of treating the calculator as a support-claim replacement.

Customers can choose the size, crop the image, adjust settings such as colour count, brightness, and contrast, and make manual edits with tools such as a pen tool before adding the order to cart.
